AIRFLOW® technology is an advanced procedure that uses a controlled jet of air, heated water and ultra-fine cleaning powder (erythritol). Unlike conventional methods, the tooth surfaces are not cleaned mechanically by scraping or strong abrasion. Instead, plaque is gently „washed away“
This procedure is at the heart of Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). It enables us to remove harmful biofilm – an invisible network of bacterium – even in places that are completely inaccessible to conventional instruments or toothbrushes.

Frequently asked questions about AIRFLOW®
Quite the contrary. Since we work with special, soft erythritol-based powders, the process is much gentler than polishing with abrasive pastes or cleaning with hand instruments. The enamel remains intact and smooth.
AIRFLOW® is not bleaching in the chemical sense. However, it removes all surface discolouration and deposits so thoroughly that teeth often appear significantly brighter and cleaner – revealing your natural tooth colour.
