One question we are commonly asked here at The Eram Clinic is, ‘How much does Invisalign cost?’ This increasingly popular treatment offers remarkable results, but many patients mistakenly think it is out of their price range, or not available to them.
In today’s blog we explain the financial information of Invisalign treatments, including how it measures up to alternative Orthodontic systems, price variations and what’s included in the overall cost of Invisalign.
Is Invisalign more expensive than traditional braces?
In most cases Invisalign treatments cost more than traditional orthodontics. This is because the revolutionary system behind Invisalign is one-of-a-kind, developed to give patients the best of both worlds (a straight, beautifully aligned smile without visible braces). To achieve this a complex and sophisticated treatment plan tailored to the patient is implemented, with minimal downtime, discomfort or effort from the patient. The main advantage and attraction of Invisalign compared with traditional braces is their appearance – as the name suggests, Invisalign enables patients to quietly and privately straighten and realign their smile. Metallic braces can be a drawback of Orthodontic corrective treatment for adults, because they’re commonly associated with teens. This is why Invisalign tends to cost more than direct comparisons of traditional orthodontics.
Do all Invisalign treatments cost the same?
The cost for Invisalign treatment is generally similar but can vary. Although the system itself is the same, the dentists administering it will have varying degrees of experience. Here at The Eram Clinic we have Orthodontic Doctors, who are specialised and trained to Invisalign’s top Diamond standard. This is usually reflected in the cost.
Invisalign also has a tiered system designed to suit differing requirements. For example, Invisalign Light, which is for less severe cases, costs less than a standard Invisalign treatment. If you require additional treatments or Orthodontics in conjunction with Invisalign treatments such as corrective work or cosmetic enhancement including edge bonding or composite veneers, this will affect the overall cost.
The costs usually range between CHF 5,000 and CHF 12,000.
What does the cost of Invisalign treatment include?
The overall cost of Invisalign may at first glance seem like a lot of money, but when it is broken down it’s clear to see the value not only in the end result but also in the process itself. Multiple aligners need to be custom made, expertly fitted to your teeth and to ensure perfect alignment and a natural end result. You’ll visit our clinic several times within the duration of your treatment, including all consultations during the whole Invisalign Treatment, your first appointment when the aligners are fitted, and your final appointment when they are removed.
Are payment plans available for Invisalign?
Yes! Here at The Eram Clinic we offer a variety of payment plans to suit our patients’ needs. Choose a plan with no interest applied that allows you to easily spread the cost through low monthly payments.
